Hello Sarah (and Ali and Emma and Charlie)!

I just wanted to thank you guys again for a great time in Spain. I was
expecting the hard work, but not quite so much riding and I truly
appreciated the opportunity to do so. I am back in the U.S. now just
in time for the snow (we currently have about 1 foot on the ground and
there's more coming) and am thinking fondly of Spain : ). I hope you
have a great Christmas!

In June we had a fantastic time riding at youre stables. I still think it was the best time riding on the back of a horse in my whole life. Domingo is the best looking horse I have ever seen and I was not scared riding him. What you didnt new at that time, that I was pregnant (3 months) so it was also the last time on the back of a horse for months.

Now on January 9th our daughter Eva Stolk is born. I send you a picture.

Had a great time at the ranch for a month - Nov - Dec '10.

Sarah and her family are so welcoming. All the horses are just
gorgeous and was so much fun with all their different personalities!
The scenery is just breath taking ... and the village is lovely (with
great tapas bars!)

Met so many great people, had such a laugh and learnt so much.
Sarah is so amazing to watch work with the horses, a true horsewoman
who understands them totally and taught me alot about body language
etc.

This was an experience i will never forget and i am very grateful
Sarah and her family for having me!
I hope to be back soon! :) x

Riding Holiday in Andalucia

Here are the photos I promised you!... hope you like them! The weather's not much better here... we had torrential rain last night & apparently Cornwall is completely cut off as bridges have been swept away! ... Good old Britain!! I've been in touch with Marie & Sabine quite a bit since we got back home, ... we're missing our horses very much & plan to come back & see you all soon!

Working on the Ranch

Hope all is going well on the ranch! i am back in australia again and
getting back to normal. i had such a good time with you guys up in the
mountains and im so glad i had time to stay with you, though i must say it
would have been lovely to stay longer. how are all the horses? and all the
workers too?

Working with horses in Spain

I had an amazing time working with horses in Spain here this July. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and her lovely family and all the other workers on the farm. I had lots of chances to go riding on the beautiful horses over the beautiful mountains.

I particularly enjoyed helping Sarah work with a horse (Terrance) who arrived a couple of days after my arrival
and couldn\'t be ridden because he kept bucking. By the end of my month working at the farm I was riding Terence out with the other horses. Seeing Sarah\'s brilliant horsemanship and helping her with Terrance\'s training taught me a lot.

I am so grateful to Sarah for the brilliant experiences I had on my month away. I miss all the wonderful people and animals from the farm already!

Fantastic Horse Riding Holiday In Andlaucia

I had an amazing two weeks holiday at Caballo Blanco horse riding in Andalucia - it's certainly very different to rainy Manchester! The first thing to say is that the mountain scenery is incredible. The wildlife is also really something marvel at. During my two weeks I saw goats, lizards, dogs, geese, a snake and even a soaring eagle!

The horses are obviously the main attraction and they were all fantastic; very well-schooled, but a real mix of temperaments, so there is more or less something for everybody. It was really interesting to watch Sarah begin to train the new arrival, Terrence. I also met some lovely people who were also trekking and working at Caballo Blanco. All in all, a brilliant two weeks - I would definitely recommend you visit and see for yourself!

Jodie Cooling - HEN DO

I am due to marry in 5 weeks from now and my bridesmaids organised a Hen weekend to remember. A total suprise I was told on the thursday night that at 9 am the next morning 8 of us would be flying out to Andalucia to ride for the weekend! Ali, Jane, Ann and Sarah looked after us fantastically!

Extremely welcoming and friendly they taxied us from the airport up a steep winding mountain road to our perfectly spanish accomodation. The next day it was the ride...4 of us embarked on a 4 hour trek on 4 fantastic horses! When i was told my steed was the fidgity one i knew i was in for an exciting ride and Domingo gave me just that! With the eagerness of a bull in a china shop we bounced up the mountain and all the way back down whilst the others steadily followed on.

Jane knew the routes well and the Mule Tracks were particularly steep in places. One thing i will say is that these horses sure know what they are doing and not once did they falt er. The next day 2 of the other 'non horse riding' girls joined usfor a 1 hour ride. With very little experience they were teamed with Molly and Bruno who knew their job and who safely and willingly took Mum and Lydi for a first timje experience of which they both thoroughly enjoyed.
I cannot reccommend the trip highly enough!

I had an amazing day with Lucero and only sorry not to have been there for longer. Thanks to both Sara and Ali for their kindness and also Chris and Dave for their hospitality.
