Had a great time at the ranch for a month - Nov - Dec '10.

Sarah and her family are so welcoming.   All  the horses are just
gorgeous and was so much fun with all their different personalities!
The scenery is just breath taking ... and the village is lovely (with
great tapas bars!)

Met so many great people, had such a laugh and learnt so much.
Sarah is so amazing to watch work with the horses, a true horsewoman
who understands them totally and taught me alot about body language
etc.

This was an experience i will never forget and i am very grateful

Working with horses in Spain

Posted by Millie Darling on Thursday, August 5, 2010,
I had an amazing time working with horses in Spain here this July. I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah and her lovely family and all the other workers on the farm. I had lots of chances to go riding on the beautiful horses over the beautiful mountains.

I particularly enjoyed helping Sarah work with a horse (Terrance) who arrived a couple of days after my arrival
and couldn\'t be ridden because he kept bucking. By the end of my month working at the farm I was riding Terence out with the oth...

Dear Sarah

Im back in rainy and cold England....its such a climate shock! And sick at home (like a mild food poisoning)....I can only think its got something to do with the chicken salad I had at the airport in Malaga.

I truely enjoyed my week at your yard. It has made me so much more confidence in the handling and riding of horses. And I am so impressed of what your horses are capable of (the way they walk up the mountain they reminded me of mountain goats sometimes). I now understand why they...

Hi Sarah

Thank you for a fantastic trekking experience. For two people who had really never ridden before we did 3 full days with Jane (who was really great, knowledgeable and interesting) and loved it.

You really do run an amazing place up there. Your horses were perfectly suited to our inability and tolerant of our lack of knowledge and the rides were utterly breathtaking. I have given your details to more people than I can count and told them that if they're ever in the region to get themse...

Miek from Holland

Hi Sarah,

I've had a great time with you. I miss the horses already! I really want to come back, maybe I will come in summer, but I am not sure yet. In Holland the school exams are starting tomorrow. And in a copple of week the English exam. How are Aska en Bruno? They were so sweet. Can you still get me my working reference, so I can use it for my Curriculaeum Vitae. I hope to see you again in summer!

Kind Regards

Miek from Holland

Hi Sarah

I have dreamt about your horses just about every night since we left. If this goes on much longer I'm going to have to do something about it! My photographic abilities are very limited, but I have attached a handful of the better ones for you, featuring, of course dear Duque and sweet Lucero.

I will welcome any news and updates from your newsletter/blog or whatever it's called. Hope to be back.

Dear Sarah and Ali

I hope you have both fully recovered from that nasty bug and that the winds have now died down.

Like you, we are experiencing unusually cold weather. We are expecting more snow for the next couple of nights.

Sarah - you are an amazing woman - gifted not only with horses but also with people. Both of us were quite nervous in different ways and you gave us much confidence with horses. Megan and Lucero were ideal horses for us. Thank you for five days of wonderful riding and for ...
